Our class trip to Italy gave many students from Huntington High School in New York, their first experience with the history, culture and art of Italy first hand.

Everyone needs a change of scenery once in a while. 

It’s not enough to get the students outside of the classroom virtually, it is critically important to get them outside of the classroom physically. 

Finding new experiences in the world is at the heart of what art education is all about.   Seeing a new place, getting out of a routine, or finding a new perspective helps students to become active explorers of their world.

Even short field trips to ordinary places can help students see things in a new way.  

Our  half day trip to the Shanghai Small Items Market turned a common city sight into an artistic challenge: The 100 Kuai Project.
